DiGiCo, the world’s leading manufacturer of live sound mixing consoles and Waves, the world’s leading developer of professional audio DSP technologies, joined forces to create DiGiGrid, advanced audio interfaces that provide users of Native DAWs, Pro Tools and MADI-enabled devices direct access to the Waves SoundGrid® audio networking and real-time processing platform.
The full DiGiGrid product line will be showcased at the 135th AES convention in New York, October 17th to 20th 2013, booth #2839.
The booth will feature six full DiGiGrid systems, highlighting specific products for different areas of the market. Product specialists Dan Page, Luke Smith and Michael Pearson Adams will be on hand throughout the convention to demonstrate the units within an educational environment.
• Dan will highlight the compact MGB and MGO MADI-to-SoundGrid interfaces for live sound and broadcast, and show how they provide high channel count, high definition recording with super-low latency plugin processing.
• Luke will demonstrate the DLI and DLS Pro Tools-to-SoundGrid interfaces, and how they integrate with both new and existing Pro Tools systems to provide increased real-time plugin processing power, seamless workflow and flexible I/O connectivity for all users.
• Finally, Michael Pearson Adams will showcase DiGiGrid I/Os with Audio-over-Ethernet networking for Native DAW systems, including the all-in-one IOS interface with built-in SoundGrid DSP Server as well as the IOC and IOX units designed for multi-room production facilities.
“When we first launched DiGiGrid, people stopped and really took notice,” says Udi Henis of Waves International Marketing. “The AES show gives us an opportunity to introduce DiGiGrid to those who haven’t yet seen the huge advantages it offers, and allow those who have already recognized its potential to gain even further insight from our expert team.”
