DiGiGrid AT PROLIGHT + SOUND 2019, STAND F40 HALL 8.0

LONDON, UK – March 2019 – DiGiGrid will bring its new XL interfaces and SoundGrid processing products to Prolight + Sound 2019, delivering greater processing power and expanded connectivity for studio and live environments. The

DGS-XL, IOS-XL and MGR, which debuted at NAMM 2019, will be available for demonstration on Stand F40 throughout the show.

The DiGiGrid IOS-XL is the most comprehensive audio interface and processing platform for studio and live users, now featuring an Extreme SoundGrid i7 DSP that doubles the DSP to add more plugin processing and mixing power to any system. Ideal for professional and personal production environments alike, the interface provides eight mic/line inputs with premium preamps, eight line outputs, two headphone outputs, MIDI I/O, S/PDIF and AES inputs and outputs, and an integrated 4 port ethernet switch that provides endless expansion opportunities.

The DiGiGrid DGS-XL is a stand-alone Extreme i7 server Server which allows users to run as many Waves and other SoundGrid-compatible plugins as required, offering the flexibility to handle the heaviest mixes. With an integrated 4 port PoE capable network, DiGiGrid Desktop interfaces and additional rackmount interfaces are simple to add.

Together with the SoundGrid Studio System, MultiRack SoundGrid or Waves LV1, DiGiGrid IOS-XL and DGS-XL enable users to mix and monitor in real time using hundreds of SoundGrid-compatible Waves and third-party plugins, with a super low latency of only 0.8 milliseconds.

The world’s first quad MADI interface, the DiGiGrid MGR allows users to record up to 128 channels at 96kHz. The 1U MGR takes either BNC Copper or LC optical MADI cards, making the unit extremely flexible for integration into any MADI setup.  With a choice of Multimode or Singlemode fibre on the optical MADI card, and with redundant power supplies, the MGR is perfect for critical live and broadcast applications.

“The reaction to these new products has been incredibly positive so far, and we’re looking forward to introducing them to the Prolight + Sound audience,” commented DiGiGrid Brand Manager Dan Page. “The additional processing power and expanded connectivity that we have added gives engineers so much more flexibility and choice, with no compromise.”

The DiGiGrid IOS-XL, DGS-XL and MGR will be demonstrated, along with a range of DiGiGrid’s other acclaimed solutions, on Stand F40 at Prolight + Sound 2019, taking place in Frankfurt, Germany from 2-5 April 2019.
